title: France protest: demonstrators clash with police in Paris as the march against pension reforms.

summary: this article talks about the protest in France that protesters set fire to bins and threw projectiles at police in Paris. clashes also erupted in cities including Rennes, Bordeaux, Toulouse with a bank branch and cars set ablaze in Nantes. the government rejected a new demand by unions to suspend and rethink the pension bill, which will bring the retirement age from 62 up to 64. millions of people have been demonstrating and joining strike action since mid January to show their opposition to the bill, but public frustration has evolved into broader anti-macron sentiment. City rubbish collectors have suspended their weeks-long strike and anarchists smashed shop windows, demolished bus stops and ransacked a McDonald's restaurant in Paris. this was some of the worst street violence in years in France.

reaction: after I read this article I think the government should come out and try to solve the problem to stop the protest.

questions:

-what can government do to stop the protest?

-what do you think about the pension reform?

  1. Good article, Khaimook. I don't think I'd like to be a tourist in France right now. I have a grammar point to make, but I'll talk to you later about it.
